
The Bali Regional Police officially inaugurated the Bali Tourism Police Station on Jalan Raya Kuta, Badung, as part of efforts to strengthen security and public services in key tourism areas. The inauguration was led by Bali Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya and marks a strategic initiative to support Bali’s status as a major international tourism destination.
Daniel stated that the establishment of the Tourism Police Station reflects the Indonesian National Police’s commitment to ensuring Bali remains a safe and comfortable destination for visitors. According to him, the tourism sector requires professional, responsive security services given its dynamic nature and the high level of interaction among tourists, local communities, and tourism businesses.
He explained that the Bali Tourism Police Station is intended to function as an integrated service center for tourists, tourism industry players, and the wider community. The office is expected to respond quickly to security and public order issues in tourism areas, with coordinated handling to ensure efficient, clear service delivery.
Integrated Services and Operational Readiness
Daniel emphasized that a dedicated tourism police facility will help streamline coordination and communication to address security matters in tourist zones. Centralized services are expected to improve response times and operational effectiveness in handling reports and incidents related to tourism activities.
The inauguration ceremony included a ribbon-cutting conducted by Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya, together with the Head of the Sabhara Corps of the Indonesian National Police Security Maintenance Agency. The ceremony officially marked the commencement of operations at the Bali Tourism Police Station.
Following the inauguration, officials conducted an on-site inspection of the station’s facilities. The inspection covered office infrastructure, operational vehicles, supporting equipment, and the command center room. These facilities are intended to support daily operations and enhance coordination and monitoring capabilities in tourism areas.
Strengthening Coordination Across Sectors
Daniel expressed hope that the Bali Tourism Police Station’s operations will strengthen synergy among the police, local government, and tourism industry stakeholders. He noted that collaboration among these parties is essential to maintaining security, stability, and ensuring consistent standards in tourism area management.
According to him, strong coordination will help reinforce trust in Bali as a destination that prioritizes security and order. With the inauguration completed, the Bali Tourism Police Station is now operational and set to function as a central point for tourism-related security services in Bali, particularly in the Kuta area and surrounding regions.
