Denpasar, Bali – Travelers arriving in Bali will now go through a more streamlined entry process following the introduction of a new digital platform called All Indonesia. The system officially began its trial on 18 August 2025 at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport and is designed to simplify arrival procedures by consolidating multiple reporting requirements into one platform.
Simplified Arrival Procedures
Previously, passengers were required to complete separate forms for immigration, customs, and health declarations. Under the new system, reporting only needs to be completed once, either before departure or upon arrival in Indonesia. According to the official announcement, All Indonesia integrates immigration, customs, health, and quarantine requirements into a single process.
This approach is intended to make entry procedures easier, faster, and more secure for both Indonesian nationals and foreign visitors.
One Platform, One QR Code
The All Indonesia system functions as an online arrival card that combines the Customs Declaration and Health Pass into one QR code. Every traveler entering Indonesia, regardless of nationality, must complete the process online within three days before departure.
Once the required information is submitted, passengers will receive a QR code that must be presented upon arrival. The code contains consolidated data on travel details, customs items, and health information, allowing for a smoother process through airport checkpoints.
How to Access the System
Travelers can access All Indonesia by visiting allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id or by downloading the official application from the Play Store or App Store. The process consists of three steps: filling in travel, customs, and health details online; receiving a QR code after completion; and presenting the QR code upon arrival.
Authorities emphasize that this requirement applies to all travelers, including Indonesian citizens returning from abroad.
Trial in Bali and National Expansion
Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali was selected as the first trial location due to its role as one of the busiest international gateways in Indonesia. The Immigration Ministry confirmed that the program will be gradually expanded to other airports across the country following the Bali trial phase.
Starting 1 September 2025, All Indonesia will be mandatory at three international airports: Soekarno-Hatta, I Gusti Ngurah Rai, and Juanda, as well as at six international ports in Batam: Batam Centre, Nongsa, Marina, Sekupang, Harbour Bay, and Bengkong.
Next Steps
For now, the trial at Ngurah Rai International Airport remains in effect, and all travelers passing through Bali are expected to comply with the new system. The government has confirmed that the All Indonesia digital card will become the standardized entry requirement moving forward.
With this introduction, Indonesia is moving toward digitizing and centralizing its border entry procedures. The ongoing trial will determine how quickly the system can be implemented at other airports nationwide.
