
A video showing a disturbance involving a group of foreign nationals outside a minimarket believed to be located in the Canggu area of North Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali, has gone viral on social media. The incident involved several foreign men and was widely shared after a social media user uploaded it.
The video, which lasts approximately 15 seconds, was posted with the caption “Canggu Reunion went wrong.” It captures a tense situation that escalates into physical confrontation, including pushing and punching, in front of the minimarket.
Chaotic Scene Captured on Video
The footage shows more than a dozen people gathered in the minimarket parking area. At one point, the situation suddenly turns chaotic as individuals begin pushing one another. Several people are seen throwing punches amid the crowded scene.
During the incident, women can be heard screaming, indicating heightened tension at the location. The video also shows several bystanders attempting to intervene and separate those involved, but their efforts appear unsuccessful.
Motorcycles Nearly Hit During Altercation
The disturbance occurred in a busy area where several motorcycles were parked nearby. Due to pushing and movement in the crowd, some parked motorcycles were reportedly nearly struck during the altercation.
The video does not show any security or law enforcement personnel present at the time of the incident. There is also no visible evidence of formal crowd control during the recorded moments.
Cause of Incident Remains Unclear
The account owner who uploaded the video stated that they did not know the cause of the altercation. As of now, there is no verified information explaining what triggered the confrontation among the foreign nationals.

“There is no official report related to it yet,” said the Temporary Officer of the Head of the Public Information Subsection (PS Kasubsi Penmas) of the Public Relations Section (Sihumas) of the Badung Police, Aiptu Ni Nyoman Ayu Inastuti.
There is also no information confirming whether the incident has been reported to the police or whether any legal action is being taken.
