A group of foreign nationals attacked security guards in front of Finns Beach Club, Canggu, on Tuesday night (11/02/2025).

The incident went viral on social media through a 26-second video showing shirtless foreigners brawling with a man believed to be a security officer at the venue.

The security guard was also struck with a metal object, suspected to be a parking barrier, while other foreigners carried wooden sticks and a rope.

According to circulating narratives, the altercation allegedly broke out because the foreigners refused to pay for their orders. The Bali Media has not been able to confirm this detail.

How the Incident Began

The Public Relations Officer of the Badung Police, Ipda I Putu Sukarma, confirmed the incident.

According to ]a security guard at Finns Beach Club, the chaos began at 9:40 PM WITA when one of the alleged perpetrators, identified by the initials LD, accidentally bumped into another guest at a nearby table. This led to an argument, during which LD attempted to strangle the other guest.

“The security guards tried to break up the fight, but the perpetrator responded by flipping off the security officers,” Sukarma told Tirto on Wednesday (12/02/2025).

Security Ejects Foreign Nationals, but Violence Escalates

After repeated warnings, security decided to escort the foreign national out of Finns Beach Club for causing a disturbance. However, once they reached the parking area, LD resisted and started attacking several security guards.

The situation escalated at 9:55 PM WITA.

Another security guard at the nightclub, attempted to restrain LD by tying his hands, but four of LD’s friends suddenly arrived and began attacking the two security guards.

“The attackers assaulted them indiscriminately before fleeing north towards Jalan Pantai Berawa,” Sukarma explained.

Aftermath Injury

Four security guards were injured in the incident.

One victim suffered a broken lower tooth, a bleeding nose, and a head injury. He is currently receiving treatment at Hydro Medical Bali Clinic. One of the guards sustained swelling in his left ear and abrasions on his left cheek.

Another victim suffered a bite wound on his left hand and abrasions on his right elbow, while a third victim sustained bruises on the right side of his face.

The case remains under investigation, with police working to identify all foreign nationals involved. Authorities are also continuing their pursuit of the suspects.

“The search for the perpetrators is still ongoing. Hopefully, they will be found soon,” Sukarma stated.
