Following the launch of a new low-cost direct flight between Bali and Darwin by Air Asia last week, TransNusa has announced a new international route linking Denpasar, Bali (DPS), and Perth, Australia (PER), set to debut on 20 March 2025.

The service will be operated using Airbus A320 aircraft with a seating capacity of 174 passengers, marking a significant milestone in expanding travel options between the two regions.

Flight Schedule and Expansion Plans

Initially, flights will operate three times weekly—on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays—departing Denpasar at 09:10 WITA and arriving in Perth at 12:50 local time.

Return flights from Perth will depart at 13:35 and land in Denpasar at 17:20 WITA.

The service frequency will increase to four times weekly starting 12 April and become a daily operation from 1 June.

Strengthening Bilateral Ties

The new connection is expected to catalyze tourism and economic growth for both nations.

Bali, celebrated globally as a top-tier tourist destination, will now be even more accessible to Perth residents. Similarly, Perth, with its pristine beaches, rich culture, and promising business opportunities, is positioned as a compelling destination for Indonesian travelers.
