A video circulating widely on social media has shown a foreign national (WNA) challenging a local Balinese resident to a public physical duel.

The altercation reportedly began after the non-local allegedly struck a local driver while operating a vehicle in Bali. The incident reportedly unfolded when the local driver exited his vehicle and confronted the foreigner, demanding accountability for the accident. This detail has not yet been independently confirmed by our team.

The non-local is then seen in the video pushing the local driver and verbally challenging the local for a fight before later taking his shirt off, escalating tensions between the two.

Another non-local passerby is also seen in the video yelling, “You’re an idiot,” although it is unclear at whom the expression was exactly directed between the two.

The local then utters, in Indonesian, saying that he intends to report the non-local to the police.

As the video gained traction online, local authorities were informed of the dispute, and an investigation is now underway to resolve the matter.

The local community has expressed alarm over the incident, with many calling for greater accountability and respect for Balinese customs and laws among visitors.
